Constantia Glen – For Wine Tasting with a View

Located in the Constantia Valley just 20 minutes from the city center, Constantia Glen is perfect for a relaxed afternoon of wine tasting and lunch. The views of the mountains and vineyards are breathtaking. Try the seven-glass wine tasting and share a charcuterie and cheese board or a warm beef fillet salad. It’s sophisticated but not stuffy, and the staff are fantastic.
S.A. CARNÉ – For Meat Lovers

One of our favorite dinners in Cape Town. SA CARNÉ is heaven for anyone who enjoys high-quality steak. The menu focuses on South African meat, and the interior is modern and sleek. I’ll be doing a full review soon, but spoiler: we loved it. They also have a stall inside Time Out Market, perfect if you want a more casual way to try them.

Open on weekends (and some Wednesdays), Oranjezicht Market is where locals and tourists meet over delicious food, fresh produce, and beautiful ocean views. You’ll find everything from smoothie bowls to vegan tacos and gourmet sandwiches. We grabbed a casual lunch here and loved the laid-back atmosphere and variety. Great for families and groups with different food preferences.
Time Out Market – For a Bit of Everything

Time Out Market Cape Town brings together some of the city’s best chefs and food concepts under one roof. We had delicious Italian pasta from [insert vendor name if found], and SA CARNÉ also has a stand here. This is a great option if you’re with a group and want variety. There’s also a bar area for wine and cocktails.
Madame Taitou – For a Quirky, Cozy Night Out

Madame Taitou is one of the most unusual places we ate at — in the best way. The entire restaurant is decorated like a jungle, with faux vines, wooden statues, and cozy corners. The food is a mix of African dishes, with big portions and bold flavors. It’s low-key, affordable, and perfect after a day of exploring the city.
Harbour House – For a Waterfront Treat

Set right on the water at the V&A Waterfront, Harbour House is ideal for a special seafood meal. It’s a little more upscale, but the views are incredible and the fish is super fresh. Go at sunset and sit by the windows. Make sure to reserve ahead — it gets busy, especially in the evenings.

Chinchilla is more about the vibe than a full meal, but it’s a must for sunset drinks and sharing a few tapas-style plates. Set above Camps Bay beach, it has panoramic views and a trendy atmosphere. It’s walk-in friendly for drinks, but we recommend booking for dinner or prime sunset hours.
