After a night of dancing, laughter, and a few too many cocktails (as bachelorette weekends demand), we needed one final stop before flying home: brunch. On Sunday, July 16th, we headed to Oretta in Toronto for a midday meal that ended our trip on a high — and very aesthetic — note. There are several Oretta spots in Toronto, we went to the midtown one.
A Hangover-Friendly Heaven
Oretta, located on King Street West, is one of those places that immediately lifts your mood, even when your head is pounding. The space is absolutely beautiful — high ceilings, soft colors, art deco arches, and thoughtful design details at every turn. It’s stylish without being pretentious. The kind of restaurant where you want to stay a while, sip something cold, and people-watch through oversized windows.
We were a group in recovery mode — tired, giggly, and slightly delicate after a weekend of bachelorette festivities — but Oretta turned out to be exactly what we needed.

Cocktails That Stole the Show
Let’s talk about the drinks. We ordered a variety of cocktails (because hydration comes in many forms), and they were hands-down the highlight of the meal. Creative, balanced, and beautifully presented, each one felt like it had been made with real care. Whether fruity or herbal, strong or refreshing, they were the kind of cocktails that make you pause after the first sip and go, “Wow, okay.”
It was the perfect place to go to end our Bachelorette week-end in Toronto and we ate and sipped on our drinks while talking about all of the great memories we had.
Good Food, Great Vibes
The food was exactly what you want from a brunch spot: satisfying, tasty, and plated with style. Each of us had something a little different — eggs, pastries, and a few indulgent sides. While the food didn’t completely blow us away, it definitely hit the spot. What elevated the whole experience was the atmosphere: warm, friendly, and full of people enjoying themselves.
The staff were lovely and relaxed — not an easy feat when serving a group of tired party girls. Everyone felt genuinely welcome.
Why I’d Go Back
We found Oretta thanks to the maid of honour’s research, and honestly, she nailed it. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful brunch spot in Toronto — whether you’re nursing a hangover, celebrating something special, or just passing through the city.
And yes, I’m already planning to go back.
