My Stay at the Four Seasons, Toronto

I stayed at the Four Seasons, Toronto for three nights for the occasion of a bachelorette party. It was a perfect place that would eventually set the tone for a special weekend with friends. The Four Seasons delivered on (almost) every front, offering an excellent mix of comfort and convenience. I arrived a bit earlier than the others (I was already in Ontario) and the hotel staff made the check-in process seamless. They allowed me to check in first, securing the room with a credit card on hold, and everything was ready when my friends arrived a few hours later.

Here’s a breakdown of our experience at the Four Seasons Toronto, from the rooms to the spa and, of course, the food.

Effortless Arrival and Room Setup

We each stayed in a classic double room, which was spacious, clean and beautifully designed. The attention to detail was spectacular, it felt like a cozy retreat from the moment you walk in. One of my favorite details was the soundproofing of the rooms. You could hear absolutely nothing from the busy city outside, which was perfect for sleeping. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was a perfect size without a shower, bath and double vanity.

I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, like the soft towels, a carefully curated minibar, and the attention to detail in the room decor. The best part was the service, which was friendly and professional, creating a relaxing atmosphere as we started our bachelorette weekend.

Dining at Café Boulud

On our first evening, we decided to check out the hotel restaurant Café Boulud, which we had all heard great things about. It’s an in-house French brasserie. I had a French 75 cocktail to start, and for the main course, I went for the lobster dish. The food was good overall, but some of the girls had mixed experiences with their meals. Still, we were all happy with the vibe of the restaurant, it’s stylish without feeling too stuffy and the staff was overall friendly. The cocktails were especially well made.

The Hotel’s Amenities

We didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel spa and pool because we had a full timetable with lots of activities during the weekend. We did go to the pool a few times, which is a great place to relax if you want to enjoy some downtime. The spa and pool were nice but they weren’t the standout feature of our trip. Good, but nothing memorable.

We didn’t have time to use the gym, so I can’t speak on that, but it seems to have good quality machines and a good design.

Celebrity Sightings

The day I arrived, as I was waiting for the elevator in the hotel lobby, I caught sight of James Corden. He didn’t seem exactly in the mood for any interaction (which I wouldn’t do anyway because I get embarrassed and wouldn’t know what to say) but it was a funny story to tell.

Later, we had a surprise encounter in the elevator with Tyga (though, to be honest, we didn’t even realize who he was at the time). It was a funny moment because my friend complimented his friend on his nails.

The Hotel Bar

The hotel bar is a place where we spent quite a bit of time on our last evening. Unfortunately, it closed quite early, but that’s due to Ontario laws so I can’t argue with that. The place has simple design and good cocktails, although nothing particularly special. I’m not sure if it was a one-off, but it was very busy, which made it hard to order drinks.

The Yorkville Neighbourhood

Yorkville is a great neighbourhood to stay in when visiting Toronto. It’s central and has easy access to most places, while also been a calmer place. It’s slightly out of the way of the city buzz. We didn’t explore Yorkville much, except for a few shops, but it seemed like a laid-back place with all the amenities you would need.

Would I Recommend the Four Seasons Toronto?

Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Four Seasons Toronto if you’re looking for a relaxing, well-located hotel with excellent service. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, and the staff are top-notch, which made our stay really enjoyable. Though we didn’t get to use all the amenities, like the spa or gym, we appreciated the peaceful vibe of the hotel, which was perfect for our weekend getaway.

The hotel may be on the pricier side, but for special occasions — like a bachelorette trip — it’s worth it. It’s about the experience and the level of comfort, and Four Seasons Toronto definitely delivered that.
